Constructed Energy 01
Constructed Energy is an original abstract work exploring the relationship between structure, texture and colour. Rich layers of turquoise, burnt orange, deep teal and ochre build a tactile, almost weathered surface, punctuated by energetic linear forms and gestural marks. The juxtaposition of controlled geometric elements against the raw, fragmented texture creates a compelling tension between order and spontaneity.
The work reflects Jon Tyrrell’s architectural sensibility, where proportion, rhythm and constructed form are reinterpreted through an expressive abstract language. The raised white ground and sculptural metallic detail further emphasise the physicality of the piece, inviting the viewer to explore its surface as much as its composition.
The canvas measures 21.0cm x 15.0cm and is mounted on white mountboard in a simple black frame. Overall size 28.0cm x 23.0cm
