A geometric abstract composition built on a disciplined grid of interlocking rectangles, squares, and bands, rendered in a warm palette of ochre, slate grey, cream, and charcoal, punctuated by accents of brick red and metallic gold. Fine graphite compass-marks and crosshairs remain visible throughout, lending the surface a sense of architectural draftsmanship and revealing the work’s construction. A single sinuous curve traces a path from top to bottom, introducing organic movement against the otherwise rigid structure — a tension between order and flow that recalls mid-century modernist design and the hard-edge abstraction of artists like Auguste Herbin or Burgoyne Diller. Textured passages of gold pigment add tactile variation, while a small dark square and a pale disc serve as quiet focal points within the composition’s architecture.

This artwork measures 66.0cm x 40.0cm canvas size with overall framed dimensions of  610cm x 45.0cm x 4.0cm deep.  The frame is a simple floating frame, unpainted.
