A dense, layered composition that reads like the visual residue of a city — peeling posters, stencilled signage, and weathered architecture compressed into a single teeming surface. Built from a rich palette of teal, cobalt blue, rust red, and charcoal black, the painting evokes urban decay and renewal simultaneously: scaffolding-like verticals suggest building facades and construction hoarding, while patches of raw texture recall plaster, rust, and peeling paint stripped back by time and weather.

Scattered across the surface, stencilled alphanumeric fragments — “7B,” “A9,” “T3,” “TRAP,” “048” — function like fragments of street signage, cargo markings, or spray-painted tags, lending the piece a distinctly urban, almost archaeological character. These text elements sit in tension with the painterly abstraction around them, blurring the line between graffiti, signage, and pure gestural mark-making.

Thick impasto passages and dragged, scraped textures give the surface a tactile, weathered quality, as though the painting has itself been exposed to the elements.
