Urban Pulse 02 is a vibrant abstract composition inspired by the rhythm, energy and layered complexity of the contemporary urban environment. Built from intersecting planes, fragmented forms and expressive gestural marks, the painting creates a sense of structure without being confined by it.
A vivid palette of turquoise blue, fiery orange, vermilion red, charcoal and luminous white creates a striking dialogue between colour and texture. Beneath the bold blocks of colour, multiple layers of distressed marks, lines, grids and partially obscured forms reveal a sense of history and movement, as though the surface has evolved over time.
The composition reflects the artist’s architectural background, with an underlying fascination for proportion, geometry and the relationship between solid form and open space.
